The NCSN event catalog contains hypocenter, magnitude, and a multitude of other information about events recorded by the USGS Northern California Seismic Network from 1976 to the present. Type man ncsn.catalog for further information about this data. 2. The NCSN mechanism catalog contains hypocenter, magni- tude, and focal mechanism information about events recorded by the USGS Northern California Seismic Network from 1976 to the present. Type man ncsn.mech for further information concerning this data. 3. The UCB event catalog contains epicenter or hypocenter, magnitude, and a multitide of other information about events recorded by the UC Berkeley Seismological Laboratory from 1910 to the present. Type man ucb.catalog for further information concerning this data. The program eqselect can be used to search this data and extract events that satisfy user-specified criteria. The program extract can be used to to extract additional phase and amplitude information for events that were extracted with the program.
