This map of regional seismicity in Alaska was generated from
the ANSS/CNSS earthquake catalog.

Earthquakes of all magnitudes reported in 1960/01/01-2002/11/09 are
plotted, with color indicating the depth of the event.  This
figure adopts a color scale simliar to that used by AEIC
	blue : 0 < h <= 33 km
	green: 33 < h <= 75 km
	red  : 75 < h <= 125 km
	yellow : h > 125 km

The larger circles are earthquakes of M 7.0 and higher from
1900-2002/11/09.  The color of circle indicates the depth of
the event, as above.  The star indicates the location of the
11/03/2002 Denali earthquake.
