April 17th - 9:00 - 5:00 PM

For people staying at the Cathedral Hill:
Walk to the Civic Center BART station (go down Van Ness to Market; the
station is at 1150 Market). Take a train with the destination of
Richmond. Trains for Richmond run every 15 minutes or so. Exit the
train at Downtown Berkeley. There is a 10 min walk from the BART
station to McCone Hall.
McCone is located on the north side of the UC Berkeley campus
in Berkeley, California, just
south
of the North Gate campus entrance at the corner of Euclid and Hearst Ave.
The meeting will be held in the Seismo Lab Conference Room, which is
located on the 2nd floor in the Seismo Lab suite.
Alternatively, we might be able to make arrangements where I pick
some of you up - or you take a cab to my house in SF and I drive
us to campus.

General background information on ANSS-related travel from
Kaye Shedlock - shedlock@usgs.gov
Please just have the travelers send me an email that includes their
day/time/airport travel requests (we have to charge tickets to a
specific account here), their fax numbers, and their mailing
addresses. I hand off the ticketing requests to our travel group
twice a week. The staff here makes the reservations, faxes the ticket
info (always e-tickets) to the traveler, and prepares the
reimbursement documents with the above info. Then we (or you) hand
the necessary documents to the travelers at the meeting to get their
other costs reimbursed.
Once completed, please return travel documents to Barb Johnson.
